	Hook: Type:  Down Eyed Short Shank Manufacturer:  Tiemco TMC 102Y Size:  #17 Thread Brown Body: Cock-Pheasant tail fibres Thorax: Rabbit under-fur mixed with a few guard hairs (I used Musk Rat - see notes below) Rib: Copper wire, or silver and gold (I have used fine copper wire)

Tier's Comments:     -    Musk Rat is pretty buoyant so this fly either sinks slowly or stays just beneath the surface, depending on how much of a thorax it has. I have used this variant successfully on both the river Creedy and the river Taw. On both occasions there was little evidence of surface feeding and not much showing down deep.
