Tier's Comments:     -     Very simple fly to tie. Essential that the CDC body is visible from below, with no elk hair below the horizontal. This fly can be tied with separate CDC feathers for body and wings, or using just one larger feather, starting the winding from the posterior end and reflecting the surplus back over the body, and trimming before applying the elk hair.
