How to Tie:
Bob Wyatt writes most interesting pieces about his world-wide fishing and seems to be a great thinker about things piscatorial, as well as a practical angler. He wrote so glowingly about his success with this simple pattern, for wild browns everywhere, that it was a must for me. It worked fine on the Berkshire chalkstreams, and it still works on the Teign.
A variation of my own includes a tail/shuck of floss. I use acetate floss to enable it to sink below the surface. I also dip the last 1-2mm in head cement, to prevent the floss from flaring out in the water.
