Manufacturer:  Carrilon
Size:   12-16

Black silk
Body:
 Natural grey CDC plumes (2-4)
Wing:
 Natural grey CDC plumes (2-4)

How to Tie:
Create body with black silk.
Align a pair of CDC plumes, and part the fibres at their mid point.
Tie in with 3 wraps arounf their mid point, approx 1/6 shank behind the eye.
Fold the butt ends of plumes back toward the bend and secure.
Pass one or two wraps under the top halves of plumes to lift them off the shank.
Form a dubbed head of CDC plume fibres and whip finish.

Tier's Comments:
As an emerger it should sit in the film with the hook submerged.
I usually roll cast it and drift it back downstream towards me like any dry fly, as I work my way upstream.
